Summary:
Alpine demanding descent in the Adamello massif.
Access:
Approach (2 h):
you go up until you reach the dam of Lake Arno and you access the base
Tour (5 h):
The descent continues down an increasingly steep valley where, after the initial slabs and toboggans, you enter the more deeply incised central section. A quick succession of rappels leads to a 50 m drop (C50) at a bend in the gorge.
From the base of the 35 m drop (C35), a boulder-hopping/scrambling section begins (about 20 minutes), leading to the final sequence: three rappels up to 20 m that reach the second, spectacular C50. At its base there is a nice 9 m jumpable pool (C9) followed by the last toboggans before exiting on the left shortly before the old power plant.
