Debemos situarnos en la RM302 desde la Alberca. Pasaremos el barrio de Algezares (pk 7) y antes del pk 5 (Los Garres) tenemos una calle a la derecha (Cuesta del Olivar), subimos esa calle y en la curva veremos una zona para aparcar a la izquierda. Aquí dejamos el coche de retorno. Si tenemos dos coches, con el de acceso continuaremos por la carretera unos kms hasta San José de la Montaña, desde aquí parte una carreterilla que sube hacia la sierra de la Cresta del Gallo, en menos de 4kms encontramos una curva de izquierdas con una zona abierta a la derecha donde aparcar, una especie de mirador

We must be located on the RM302 from the Alberca. We will pass the neighborhood of Algezares (pk 7) and before pk 5 (Los Garres) we have a street on the right (Cuesta del Olivar), we go up this street and in the curve we will see a parking area on the left. Here we leave the return car. If we have two cars, with the access car we will continue along the road a few kilometers to San José de la Montaña, from here a small road that goes up to the mountain range of Cresta del Gallo, in less than 4kms we find a left curve with an open area on the right where to park, a kind of viewpoint.

Desde el coche de retorno sale el PR MU50 que en 30 min nos sube hasta la carretera. Iremos a la derecha hasta el claro en el que se aparca el coche de acceso. Desde el aparcamiento de acceso cogeremos una senda que se mete en la vaguada y al poco el primer rápel

From the return car the PR MU50 leaves the PR MU50 that in 30 minutes takes us up to the road. We will go right to the clearing where the access car is parked. From the access parking lot we will take a path that goes into the valley and soon the first rappel.

Bonito descenso con rápeles sencillos excepto el de 45m. El segundo rápel son 25m justos. Se puede hacer fraccionado un 5 + 20 para que no haya roce, al bajar esos 5 (ese es el rápel 2° realmente) hay un espacio pequeño, no es una cornisa, pero es un espacio pequeño e irregular. En el R45 tendremos dos posibles instalaciones siendo la izquierda un volado. Al recuperar la cuerda esta se suele quedar en una cornisa de 3m que se tiene que trepar y destrepar, mucha precaución al hacerlo.

Nice descent with easy rappels except for the 45m. The second rappel is just 25m. You can do a split 5 + 20 so that there is no friction, when descending those 5 (that is the second rappel really) there is a small space, it is not a ledge, but it is a small and irregular space. In the R45 we will have two possible installations, the left one being an overhang. When recovering the rope, it usually remains on a 3m ledge that must be climbed and dexterous, so be very careful when doing so.

Al terminar los rápeles seguimos 100m el cauce hasta encontrar una senda por la derecha que nos lleva al aparcamiento

At the end of the rappels we follow the riverbed for 100m until we find a path on the right that leads us to the parking lot.
