Accesos bcos Valle del Gran Rey Situándonos en Valle del Gran Rey, necesitaremos dos coches. El de retorno se queda en Casa de la Seda, hay un aparcamiento habilitado y un cartel con la senda que nos lleva a la cascada (nuestro retorno). Con el coche de acceso seguiremos subiendo hacia Arure, en toda la subida tendremos unas vistas impresionantes a nuestra izquierda del barranco. A mitad de subida encontraremos el aparcamiento del mirador del Palmarejo (afluente y bco por la izq de nuestro descenso). Continuamos hasta llegar al pueblo en donde encontraremos el desvío a la izquierda a la Ermita del Santo, nos meteremos y a los 200m en la curva de derechas aparcamos. Tendremos el embalse y el barranco justo debajo de nosotros.

How to get to Valle del Gran Rey We will need two cars to get to Valle del Gran Rey. The return car stays at Casa de la Seda, there is a parking lot and a sign with the path that leads to the waterfall (our return). With the access car we will continue climbing towards Arure, throughout the climb we will have stunning views to our left of the ravine. Halfway up we will find the parking of the viewpoint of Palmarejo (tributary and bank on the left of our descent). We continue until we reach the village where we will find the detour to the left to the Ermita del Santo, we will enter and after 200m in the right curve we park. We will have the reservoir and the ravine just below us.

Un primer circo impresionante con dos rápeles de 12 y 60m empañados por la tubería que vierte del pueblo. A partir de aquí muy encajonado, sucediéndose los pequeños circos y destrepes hasta llegar a la cascada de Arure, lugar en el que es fácil encontrarse senderistas que se aproximan por la senda desde Casa de Seda

A first impressive cirque with two rappels of 12 and 60m, clouded by the pipe that pours from the village. From here on it is very boxed in, with a succession of small cirques and abseilings until reaching the Arure waterfall, a place where it is easy to find hikers approaching along the path from Casa de Seda.
