Situándonos en Bera en la N121A, dirección Irún. Al poco de salir de Bera tenemos la vía de servicio a la derecha, la cogemos y seguimos hasta la recurva de 90 grados a la izquierda, justo el p.k. 67. Aparcamos aquí al lado de un antiguo bar

We are located in Bera on the N121A, direction Irún. Shortly after leaving Bera we have the service road on the right, we take it and continue to the 90 degree bend on the left, just at the p.k. 67. We park here next to an old bar.

Tras el restaurante, por la izquierda orográfica del río, tenemos un senderito que sube por el bosque en zig-zag, muy bonito y bastante perdedor, hasta una pista (tardaremos cerca de media hora). Otra opción es ir carretera abajo unos 350m hasta una pista que sale, a los pocos metros meternos por la de la izquierda y subir por ella unos 100m hasta otra pista que sale a la izquierda a media ladera. Esta pista es a la que iremos a parar por el sendero. En ambos casos siguiendo la pista hasta casi el collado, a partir de aquí va descendiendo hacia el valle, aquí ya intuimos el arroyo abajo y como la zona más encañonada y vertical la estamos dejando atrás. Momento para dejar la pista e irnos hacia el cauce.

After the restaurant, on the orographic left of the river, we have a path that climbs through the forest in zigzag, very nice and quite losing, to a track (it will take about half an hour). Another option is to go down the road about 350m to a track that comes out, a few meters to get into the left and climb it about 100m to another track that comes out on the left halfway up the slope. This track is the one that we will go to stop by the path. In both cases following the track until almost the hill, from here it descends towards the valley, here we already sense the stream below and as the most canyoned and vertical area we are leaving behind. Moment to leave the track and go towards the riverbed.

Un primer rápel en rampa desde un árbol para meternos en una “vertical” de 4 cascadas, la última de 35m está fraccionada por la dificultad de recuperar las cuerdas. Seguiremos por una zona de destrepes y andar, más abierta, donde disfrutaremos del paraje, el bosque y la extraña roca que conforma nuestro barranco. Entramos en la parte más estrecha, donde deberemos andar con ojo si es caudal es elevado. Cuatro rápeles, los tres primeros cortitos y el 4º en una preciosa cascada de 22m. Solo nos quedará andar un tramo hasta dar con el último rápel

A first rappel ramp from a tree to get into a "vertical" of 4 waterfalls, the last 35m is split by the difficulty of recovering the ropes. We enter the narrowest part, where we must be careful if the flow is high. Four rappels, the first three short and the 4th in a beautiful waterfall of 22m. We will only have to walk a stretch until we reach the last rappel.

Seguimos el río por donde mejor podamos progresar, podremos realizar algún destrepe e incluso tobogán hasta las antiguas instalaciones mineras. Aquí ya estaremos al lado de la carretera.
