Su elevado caudal casi todo el año nos obliga a evaluarlo muy bien antes de entrar pues tras el primer rápel no hay vuelta atrás y el tercer rápel es muy comprometido. Al principio de temporada puede hacer falta reequipar por haber saltado las chapas en las crecidas de primavera. Mejor a realizar a finales de verano.

Varias maneras de llegar hasta Salardú. Desde la Val d'Aran por la N230, o desde Francia por la N125 hasta Vielha y subimos hacia la Bonaigua. Desde el lado de Sort atravesando el Port de la Bonaigua Una vez en Salardú giraremos hacia Bagergue. Llegaremos a este bonito pueblo, lo atravesaremos y seguiremos por la pista al lado del río Unhola, cuando se bifurca para ir a la Borda Lana (izquierda) nosotros iremos por la derecha por la pista de Liat. Veremos una represa a nuestra izquierda y el barranco de Maupás. Podemos aparcar aquí que es la salida del barranco o más adelante en el Arriu Tèrra de Panau que es el acceso, son 200m de pista.

There are several ways to get to Salardú. From the Val d'Aran by the N230, or from France by the N125 to Vielha and go up to the Bonaigua. From the Sort side crossing the Port de la Bonaigua. Once in Salardú turn towards Bagergue. We will arrive at this pretty village, cross it and continue along the track next to the river Unhola, when it forks to go to the Borda Lana (left) we will go right along the track of Liat. We will see a dam on our left and the Maupás ravine. We can park here which is the exit of the ravine or further on in the Arriu Tèrra de Panau which is the access, it is 200m of track.

Evaluar muy bien el caudal antes de realizar el R20 de entrada pues luego no hay escapatorias. Ver reseña, 4 rápeles, un par de destrepes y se acaba antes de la represa
