Gleiche Anfahrt wie zum Lavadignas und Surcruns: Von Chur fahren wir über Trins-Mulins nach Flims. Dort nehmen wir ziemlich am Ortsbeginn die Straße rechts hinauf Richtung Fidaz und Bargis. Nachdem wir Fidaz passiert haben, kommen wir zu einem großen Parkplatz, wo wir unser Auto abstellen (1245m Höhe). Weiter hinauf nach Bargis geht es entweder mit dem Bus, mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß (etwa 1 Std.). Siehe auch in Fotogalerie Lavadignas.

Same approach as to Lavadignas and Surcruns: From Chur we drive via Trins-Mulins to Flims. There we take the road to the right uphill towards Fidaz and Bargis almost at the beginning of the village. After passing Fidaz, we come to a large parking lot where we park our car (1245m altitude). We continue up to Bargis either by bus, by bike or on foot (about 1 hour). In Bargis angekommen (1550m Höhe) folgen wir der Straße noch über die Turnigla-Brücke und nehmen danach die Piste bis zu einer Hütte auf 1860m Höhe (bis hierher problemlos auch mit MTB, das dann beim Ausstieg wieder sofort bereit stünde). Von hier nehmen wir den Pfad weiter aufwärts, queren wenig später den Bach aus dem Surcruns-Canyon und steigen anschließend in Serpentinen immer auf der orograf. linken Seite des Baches bleibend zunächst bis etwa 2040m Höhe auf. Hier gabelt sich der Pfad. Links läuft ein Ast auf den Bach zu und quert ihn auf einer Brücke. Würden wir hier gehen, kämen wir über eine Alpe zum mittleren Einstieg bei einer Brücke auf 2000m Höhe. Wenn wir jedoch den oberen Einstieg gewählt haben, geht es auf dem rechten Zweig weiter am orograf. linken Hand des Val Camutschera aufwärts (wie beim Zustieg zum Surcruns). Auf 2106m Höhe kommen wir wieder zu einer Verzweigung. Der Zustieg zum Surcruns führte hier geradeaus nach Norden bergauf, wir gehen aber links und queren den Bach. Auf 2170m Höhe kommen wir auch zu einer Alpe. Hier verlassen wir den Pfad nach links und folgen einer Spur, die leicht abfallend auf das Bachbett der Aua Tschanonca zuläuft. An geeigneter Stelle steigen wir weglos in das Bachbett ab. Sollten wir nur den unteren - interessanteren - Abschnitt für eine Begehung in's Auge gefasst haben, wurde oben schon eine Zustiegsmöglichkeit beschrieben. Nach der vorliegenden Topokarte besteht aber offenbar auch die Möglichkeit, vom Talende am orograf. linken Hang unseres Canyons aufzusteigen und so zur erwähnten Brücke in 2000m Höhe am Zustieg für den unteren Abschnitt zu kommen (vgl. Karten in Fotogalerie).

Once in Bargis (1550m altitude), we follow the road over the Turnigla bridge and then take the track up to a hut at 1860m altitude (up to here without any problems, even with a mountain bike, which would then be ready again immediately on the exit). From here we take the path further uphill, cross the stream from the Surcruns canyon a little later and then ascend in serpentines, always staying on the orographic left side of the stream, initially to an altitude of around 2040m. Here the path forks. On the left, a branch walks towards the stream and crosses it on a bridge. If we walked here, we would reach the middle entry point at a bridge at an altitude of 2000m via an alpine pasture. However, if we have chosen the upper entry, we continue on the right branch up the orographic left hand of the Val Camutschera (as on the access to Surcruns). At an altitude of 2106m we come to a fork again. The access to Surcruns leads straight north uphill here, but we go left and cross the stream. At an altitude of 2170m we also come to an alpine pasture. Here we leave the path to the left and follow a track that descends slightly towards the streambed of the Aua Tschanonca. At a suitable point, we descend into the streambed without a path. If we only have the lower - more interesting - parts in mind for an ascent, an access option has already been described above. According to the available topo map, however, it is apparently also possible to ascend from the end of the valley on the orographic left slope of our canyon and thus reach the mentioned bridge at 2000m altitude at the access point for the lower part (see maps in photo gallery).

Im ersten Abschnitt 6-8 kleinere Abseiler, teilweise im Strahl, dazu Abklettern und auch Gehpassagen. Unter der Steinbogenbrücke beginnt der zweite Abschnitt mit einigen Sprungmöglichkeite und 4 kleineren Abseilern, bevor man zu dem 75m-Abfall kommt, der zusammen mit dem hier einmündende Nachbarcanyon die "Kathedrale von Bargis" bildet. Nach einem Umsteiger bleibt noch ein 51m-Abseiler. Dann ist der Abstieg auch zu Ende.

In the first part 6-8 smaller rappels, partly in the beam, plus downclimbs and also walking passages. The second part begins under the stone arch bridge with a few possible jumps and 4 smaller rappels before you reach the 75m drop which, together with the neighboring canyon that joins here, forms the "Cathedral of Bargis". After a changeover, there is still a 51m rappel. Then the descent comes to an exit.
