Deberemos llegar hasta Aledo, desde Totana por la RM502. Una vez en Aledo, seguiremos la carretera hasta sobrepasar el pueblo y llegar a una rotonda que cogeremos a la izquierda por la RM-C21 Lorca. A los 2 kms veremos un desvío a la izquierda a los Estrechos de la Arboleja que dejaremos atrás y un kilómetro después otro desvío a la izquierda que sí tomaremos. Al kilómetro tras la curva de izquierda llegamos a un puente sobre el cauce. Por aquí aparcaremos el coche de acceso. Si tenemos coche de retorno seguimos por la carretera unos 2kms hasta un cruce con la RM-C8 que tomaremos a la derecha hacia la Ermita de la Virgen de las Viñas, la dejaremos atrás y una curva de derechas. En la siguiente curva de izquierdas sale una pista por la derecha en donde podremos aparcar.

Un pequeño caos con destrepes nos dejarán en el 6º rápel y poco después el natural desde el pino para terminar el barranco. Antes del rapel del pino, que suele dar a unas pozas con agua permanente, se puede remontar por el margen derecho por una senda clara que lleva a un afluente en el que hay cuatro rapeles mas instalados con parabolt, el mas alto de unos 10 m
