O barranco de Cuesta Yanu es un barranco sencillo, sin grandes rápeles, para realizar en primavera u otoño con buen caudal. Su aliciente la cascada que le da nombre, 30m de cascada algo encajonada que posiblemente tendremos que asegurar en su acceso. Tras ella salimos al puente de la carretera. Situándonos en Cangas de Onís, cogeremos la N625 para remontar el Sella. En el pk 135 tenemos el desvío a la derecha a Viego por la PO-2, la seguiremos hasta Beleño en donde nos desviaremos a la izquierda a Sobrefoz. Remontaremos el río Ponga por un encantador carreterín hasta Sobrefoz y al llegar bajaremos por la otra orilla por la PO-1 dirección Abiegos. Al poco tenemos unas casitas a la derecha, la villa de Yanu, y justo tras pasarla sale una medio pista, medio carretera por la izquierda que sube a Boiles. Al llegar a estas casas aparcaremos.

We are in Cangas de Onís, we will take the N625 to go up the Sella. At pk 135 we have the detour to the right to Viego by the PO-2, we will follow it until Beleño where we will turn left to Sobrefoz. We will go up the river Ponga by a charming little road to Sobrefoz and when we arrive we will go down the other bank by the PO-1 towards Abiegos. Soon we have some small houses on the right, the village of Yanu, and just after passing it, a half-track, half-road on the left goes up to Boiles. When arriving at these houses we will park.

A la entrada de esta villa sale un senderín, casi perdido por la vegetación, por la izquierda que en subida se interna en el valle, a través del bosque hasta una pequeña recurva con el arroyo a la derecha, momento para bajar al cauce.

At the entrance to this village, a small path, almost lost in the vegetation, goes off to the left and uphill into the valley, through the forest to a small bend with the stream on the right, time to go down to the riverbed.

Tras la cascada salimos a la izquierda para remontar hasta la carretera y el puente. Seguiremos la carretera para volver al desvío y al aparcamiento

After the waterfall we turn left to go up to the road and the bridge. We will follow the road to return to the detour and the parking lot.
