Preciosa cascada que divisamos desde la cabaña del Turmo justo debajo del Portillón. Nace de una surgencia a unos 2100m de altura y se bifurca para ofrecernos un espectáculo en primavera con los deshielos. El momento adecuado para descenderla es en verano puesto que las instalaciones no llevan por el centro del ramal derecho y el caudal elevado la haría inviable. Prever material de repuesto, los inviernos aquí son duros y con avalanchas. Si queremos combinarla con Galantes será mejor que hagamos noche en Estós

Beautiful waterfall that we can see from the cabin of the Turmo just below the Portillón. It is born from a spring at about 2100m above sea level and forks to offer us a spectacle in spring with the thaws. The right time to descend it is in summer since the facilities do not lead through the center of the right branch and the high flow would make it unfeasible. It is advisable to foresee spare material, the winters here are hard and with avalanches. If we want to combine it with Galantes it will be better to spend the night in Estós.

Por la N260 hasta Castejón de Sos, donde nos desviaremos a Benasque por la A139 Atravesamos Benasque y seguimos por la carretera. Tras pasar la rotonda de Cerler llegaremos al puente sobre el Ésera, a los 100m tenemos el desvío a la izquierda al Valle de Estós. Iremos hasta su aparcamiento.

Take the N260 to Castejón de Sos, where we turn off to Benasque on the A139. We cross Benasque and continue along the road. After passing the traffic circle of Cerler we will arrive at the bridge over the Ésera, after 100m we have the detour to the left to the Estós Valley. We will go to the parking lot.

Saldremos por el GR dirección al valle y al refugio de Estós. Dejaremos atrás el desvío a Batisielles y llegaremos tras 45 min a la salida de la gorga Galantes en la que tenemos un par de miradores por si queremos hacerla también poder evaluar su caudal. Seguiremos subiendo y llegamos a la cabaña del Turmo, desde aquí disfrutaremos de unas magníficas vistas de nuestra cascada mirando hacia el norte, al Portillón. Seguiremos cruzando por la pasarela el río y justo aquí dejamos el GR para, ya sin senda, subir por la derecha del barranco casi hasta los murallones, en ese punto nos echamos a al izquierda para superar la pared por las laderas de este lado, rodear el paredón e ir a por la surgencia ya visible, punto de inicio del descenso.

We will leave by the GR towards the valley and the Estós refuge. We leave behind the detour to Batisielles and arrive after 45 minutes at the exit of the gorga Galantes in which we have a couple of viewpoints if we want to do it also to evaluate its flow. We will continue climbing and reach the cabin of Turmo, from here we will enjoy magnificent views of our waterfall looking north to the Portillón. We will continue crossing the river by the footbridge and right here we leave the GR to, without a path, climb up the right side of the ravine almost to the walls, at this point we turn left to overcome the wall on the slopes of this side, go around the wall and go for the already visible emergence, the starting point of the descent.

Solo para gente experimentada, vertical, acuático, con problema en la recuperación de cuerdas, instalaciones con espacio exiguo y constante caída de piedras. Todo un pequeño reto a descender en verano, una actividad de cerca de 10 horas entre acceso, descenso y retorno. El ramal equipado es el derecho, de todas formas deberemos llevar material de instalación puesto que la constante caída de piedras, el agua y las avalanchas en invierno pueden llevarse las instalaciones.

Only for experienced people, vertical, aquatic, with problems in the recovery of ropes, facilities with limited space and constant fall of stones. A small challenge to descend in summer, an activity of about 10 hours between access, descent and return.
