Hay que situarse en el concello de Covelo Por la A52 a coger la N120 y de ahí por la PO-255, o por la EP-5101 a Covelo y de ahí la PO-261 a Maceira. En ambas opciones nos acercamos a O Piñeiro da Igrexa por el sur. Unos 400m antes encontramos el cementerio a la izquierda, por aquí podemos aparcar.

Justo frente al cementerio salen una carreterilla y una pista a la derecha de nuestra carretera. Cogemos la pista que va dirección norte. A los 600m aprox. sale una pista a la izquierda (pista de retorno) seguimos por la principal, de frente, hacia el embalse del Pozo Piñeiro. Otros 500m después tenemos una pista en desuso y casi perdida por nuestra izquierda, la cogemos y seguiremos, cada vez más perdedora hasta acabar unos 100m por debajo de la represa. Momento para meternos al río.

Tras el último rápel tenemos dos posibilidades, en el primer arroyo por la izquierda, sin perder altura vamos por el bosque hasta encontrar una pista. La otra opción es tras el segundo arroyo salir a la izquierda y remontar por la ladera, por la izquierda orográfica del arroyo y daremos rápidamente con una senda y de ahí a la pista. En ambos casos vamos a la pista que se indicó que nos lleva a nuestra pista de acceso
