Von Biasca geht es über die Autobahn nach Locarno -->man nimmt die Abfahrt nach Lorcano Centovalli-Valle Maggia,-Onsernone-->weiter Richtung Ponte Brolla bei der Brücke links über die Maggia nach Onsernone--> am Ende der Ortschaft Cavigliano rechts die kurvenreiche Bergstraße nach Loco fahren-->am Ende der Ortschaft Loco sucht man nach der Brücke (Canyon) eine Parkmöglichkeit(wenig Parkplätze vorhanden)
From Biasca take the highway to Locarno --> take the exit to Lorcano Centovalli-Valle Maggia,-Onsernone--> continue towards Ponte Brolla at the bridge turn left over the Maggia to Onsernone--> at the exit of Cavigliano turn right on the winding mountain road to Loco--> at the end of Loco look for a parking place after the bridge (canyon) (few parking places available).

Nach der Brücke folgt man den Wanderweg oberhalb der Bushaltestelle-->nach der ersten Serpentine führt ein Pfad zum Bach hinunter (700Hm)
After the bridge, follow the trail above the bus stop-->after the first switchback, a path leads down to the stream (700Hm)

Der Loco ist bis zur ersten Ausstiegsmöglichkeit (Schaufelturbine) eher kurz, jedoch schön und unterhaltsam --> hat man die ersten kleinen Stufen der Schlucht überwunden kommt schon der höchste Abseilstelle (ca. 50m) die sich nach der Straßenbrücke befindet --> der Stand ist sehr ausgesetzt und wird mittels ein Seilgeländer erreicht --> es folgen 2 kurze Abseiler und eine Rutsche, bevor man vor der schön ausgeschliffenen Engstelle steht --> hier führt kein Weg vorbei! (Abseilen direkt im Wasserverlauf) --> danach kommen noch 2 schöne Gumpen und eine Abseilstelle wobei man nach dem 2. Gumpen li eine Ausstiegsmöglichkeit hat (Fixseil) --> steigt man hier nicht aus hat man noch eine Abseilstelle -->die letzten Hm werden abgeklettert bevor man vor dem kleinen selbstgebauten Schaufelrad steht --> laut Info ist der 2. (unteren) Teil nicht lohnenswert, daher sind wir hier ausgestiegen (auf ca. 510Hm). (Exit 1) --> geht man weiter gibt es weitere Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten. Exit 2: Vor dem 45 m Fall in den Isorno, Exit 2: Abseilen in den Isorno.
The Loco is up to the first exit possibility (shovel turbine) rather short, but beautiful and entertaining --> you have overcome the first small steps of the canyon comes already the highest rappel point (about 50m) which is located after the road bridge --> the stand is very exposed and is reached by means of a rope traverse --> there follow 2 short rappel and a slide, before you stand in front of the beautifully polished narrows --> here no way around! (rappel directly in the water course) --> after that there are 2 nice pools and a rappel point, where you have an exit possibility after the 2nd pool on the left (fixed rope) --> if you don't get out here, you have another rappel point -->the last few meters are rappelled before you stand in front of the small self-built paddle wheel --> according to the info, the 2nd (lower) part is not worthwhile, so we got out here (at about 510Hm). (Exit 1) --> if you go further there are more exit possibilities. Exit 2: Before the 45 m drop into the Isorno, Exit 2: rappel into the Isorno.

Vor dem letzten 45-m-Fall in den Isorno steht links eine kleine alte Mühle (Exit 2). Von hier führt ein verfallener Pfad steil in 45 Min. hoch zum Ort. Eine weitere Ausstiegsmöglichkeit besteht darin, den letzten Fall noch abzuseilen, dann ca. 600 m im Isorno bis zu einem Steg flussabwärts zu klettern oder schwimmen und dann links auf dem Weg hochzusteigen. (Exit 3) Achtung bei Exit 3 durch den Isorno. Der Isorno hat eine Automatisch gesteuerte Wasserfassung (+41 91 756 66 15)
Before the last 45 m drop into the Isorno, there is a small old mill on the left (Exit 2). From here, a dilapidated path leads steeply up to the village in 45 minutes. Another rappel option is to rappel down the last drop, then climb or swim approx. 600 m downstream in the Isorno to a footbridge and then climb up the path on the left. (Exit 3) Be careful at Exit 3 through the Isorno. The Isorno has an automatically controlled water intake (+41 91 756 66 15)

Dadurch ist der Bach ab der Brücke verschmutzt. Bei uns mehrere Personen mit Durchdall/Erbrechen. Bis auf weiteres sollte man nicht gehen. Im Bereich der Brücke fliesst Abwasser in den Bach!!!!! Inzwischen fast die Ganze Gruppe mit Magen Darm Problemen! Meldung an Gemeinde gemacht.
Sewage flows into the stream near the bridge!!!!! Almost the whole group now has gastrointestinal problems! Report made to the municipality.
