Tenemos que llegar a Cómpeta. Para ello si vamos desde Málaga nos desviamos a Algarrobo por la A7206 y la seguimos hasta Cómpeta. Si vamos desde Nerja nos desviamos pasado Torrox por la A7207 hasta Cómpeta. Una vez en el pueblo debemos ir dirección Casa de la Mina y al Puerto del Collado, desde este puerto seguiremos la pista de la derecha que va a media ladera hacia el nacimiento del arroyo de Pradillos o Fuente de Juan Rojo
