Situándonos en Balaguer, cogeremos la C12 dirección Áger. Al llegar a Les Avellanes, justo a la entrada, tenemos el desvío a la derecha por la LV9042 a Sta Linya. Iremos por esta carretera 5kms, hasta el pueblo, en donde encontraremos un giro cerrado a la izquierda para coger la LV9043, en dirección Sant Urbà y Montclús. Seguiremos por esta pista las indicaciones hasta Montcús.

In Balaguer, take the C12 towards Ager. Arriving at Les Avellanes, just at the entrance, we have the detour to the right by the LV9042 to Sta Linya. We will follow this road for 5kms, up to the village, where we will find a sharp turn to the left to take the LV9043, direction Sant Urbà and Montclús. Follow the signs to Montcús.

Desde el aparcamiento, continuamos por la pista hasta que se acabe, justo sobre el embalse. Se puede intuir el barranco a nuestra derecha, vamos para allá menos de 100m hasta ver una cuerda a la izquierda, es el pasamanos de acceso

From the parking lot, we continue along the track until it ends, just above the reservoir. You can intuit the ravine to our right, we go there for less than 100m until we see a rope on the left, it is the access handrail.

Solo dos rápeles, con pasamanos, el segundo con trozos en volado

Al llegar sobre el túnel del tren nos echaremos a la izquierda, no bajaremos puesto que nos lleva a la playa del embalse. Hay unas cuerdas para poder ir por aquí un poco más seguro hasta sobrepasar el túnel. Aquí tenemos un tramo en el que andamos al lado de las vías hasta el siguiente túnel, a la derecha hay unos mojones para acceder a la vía ferrata. La ferrata es una canal, con instalación algo vieja , que nos saca a una zona con cable de vida pero sin grapas. En la parte superior un pequeño pasamanos a la izquierda nos termina de sacar de la canal. En la parte superior encontraremos hitos que nos llevan a unas ruinas y de ahí a una antigua pista, la seguimos en dirección Oeste hasta ir a dar a la pista de acceso, de ahí al coche

When we get over the train tunnel we will go to the left, we will not go down since it takes us to the beach of the reservoir. There are some ropes to be able to go through here a little safer until we pass the tunnel. Here we have a stretch where we walk next to the tracks to the next tunnel, on the right there are some cairns to access the via ferrata. The via ferrata is a channel, with a somewhat old installation, which takes us to an area with life wire but without clamps. At the top, a small handrail on the left takes us out of the channel. In the superior part we will find milestones that take us to some ruins and from there to an old track, we follow it in direction West until going to give to the access track, from there to the car.
