Por la N260 hasta Sort, una vez allí nos desviamos por la C13 hacia Llavorsi. En Llavorsí, justo a la entrada, tras el puente giraremos a la derecha por la L504 a Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán siguiendo el río Cardós, valle amplio y magnífico. A los casi 4kms tendremos una rotonda, seguiremos por la izquierda hasta Tavascán. Atravesaremos el pueblo y justo a la salida giramos a la izquierda hacia la estación de esquí de fondo de Tavascan, al llegar al puente sobre el río Tavascan donde la carretera hace un grio brusco hacia el oeste, sale una pista hacia el norte a la Pleta Palomera. Esta pista salva bastante desnivel en poco tiempo mediante unas curvas cerradas, a los 3kms llegamos a 2 curvas muy cerradas, en la primera podemos aparcar, sale el sendero de la Pleta de frente.

By the N260 to Sort, once there we turn off on the C13 to Llavorsi. In Llavorsí, just at the entrance, after the bridge we turn right onto the L504 to Alins/Ribera de Cardós/Tavascán following the river Cardós, a wide and magnificent valley. After almost 4kms we will have a traffic circle, we will continue on the left to Tavascan. We will cross the village and just at the exit we turn left towards the cross-country ski resort of Tavascan, when we reach the bridge over the river Tavascan where the road makes a sharp turn to the west, there is a track to the north to the Pleta Palomera. This track saves a lot of slope in a short time through some sharp curves, after 3kms we arrive at 2 very sharp curves, in the first one we can park, the path of the Pleta comes out in front of us.

Salimos por el sendero de frente, dejaremos la cabaña de Pleta Palomera atrás y seguiremos el sendero del Refugi Enric Pujol. Al kilómetro y medio llegaremos al riu Escobes, lo cruzamos podremos echarnos a la izquierda a la Pleta de l'Arenal para acceder a la parte inferior. Si seguimos por el sendero otros 2,5kms llegaremos a la cabecera de la parte superior, por encima del engorgado
