Por la A1 en Beasain, giramos a la derecha a Lazkao y Ataun por la GI2120. Tomamos el desvío a Aia por la GI3151 y pasado el pk 6, tras una curva a derechas cogemos la pista que sale a la izda. Aparcamos abajo el coche de retorno. Coche de acceso desde Ataun por la GI4151 a Arratea, pasamos la zona de escalada de Jentilbaratza. Giramos a la derecha en busca del caserío de cabecera. On the A1 in Beasain, turn right to Lazkao and Ataun on the GI2120. We take the detour to Aia on the GI3151 and after km 6, after a right turn, we take the track that goes off to the left. Con dos coches solo hay que seguir la pista hasta el puente de cabecera. Con un coche hay que trepar hasta la cabecera en busca de la canalización… es un poco liosa esta subida y con bastante pérdida.

Aunque oficialemente se empieza en el puente, esta parte se puede evitar pues no aporta nada salvo resaltes y zona resbaladiza. Luego ya se cierra un poco el barranco y encontramos la zona de rápeles.
