Von Cannes auf der N 85 - Route Napoléon - über Grasse nach Castellane (57 km); von Castellane auf der D 952 in Richtung Palud, Moustier 17 km bis links hinunter die Straße zum Parkplatz Couloir Samson geht. Vorerst weiter über Palud sur Verdon, dort in südlicher Richtung auf der D 23 ab und nach La Maline (8 km). Dort das "untere" Fahrzeug abstellen (Gefahr von Einbruchdiebstahl). Mit dem anderen zurück zum Parkplatz Couloir Samson und dort abstellen (erhöhte Gefahr von Einbruchdiebstahl).

From Cannes on the N 85 - Route Napoléon - via Grasse to Castellane (57 km); from Castellane on the D 952 in the direction of Palud, Moustier 17 km until the road to the Couloir Samson parking lot goes down to the left. Continue via Palud sur Verdon, then turn south on the D 23 to La Maline (8 km). Park the "lower" vehicle there (risk of theft). Take the other one back to the Couloir Samson parking lot and leave it there (increased risk of theft).

Nur wenige Male üngemütliches "Nabada" im Verdon. Gefährlich erscheinende Passagen können in aller Regel umtragen werden. Achtung auf Hindernisse unter Wasser, z.B. im Wasser liegende Bäume. Man kann auch mit einem Fahrzeug auskommen, wenn man den reizvollen Fußweg von Maline zum Parkplatz Couloir Samson am Verdon entlang als Anmarschweg benützt - Taschenlampe für das Tunnel am Ende mitnehmen! Auch der folgende untere Abschnitt wurde schon canyoningmäßig begangen, siehe https://www.descente-canyon.com/canyoning/canyon/23208/Verdon.html . Wie bei den Kayakfahrern ist der Siphon die gefährliche Schlüsselstelle. Man kann diese aber wie bei den Kayakfahrern üblich umgehen.

Only a few times a "nabada" in the Verdon. Seemingly dangerous passages can usually be bypassed. Watch out for obstacles under water, e.g. trees lying in the water. You can also get by with one vehicle if you use the charming footpath from Maline to the Couloir Samson parking lot along the Verdon as an approach route - take a flashlight for the tunnel at the exit! However, you can bypass it as is usual for kayakers.

Nach dem scharfen Rechtsknick und der dortigen Einmündung des Artuby noch 1,6 km im Verdon weiter und dann rechts hinaus und hinauf zum Fußweg, der hinauf nach La Maline zieht (45 Min.). Letzter Ausstiegspunkt des oberen Abschnittes - ebenfalls hinauf nach La Maline - wäre bei der neuen Hängebrücke.

After the sharp right bend and the confluence of the Artuby there, continue 1.6 km in the Verdon and then out to the right and up to the footpath that goes up to La Maline (45 min.). Last exit point of the upper part - also up to La Maline - would be at the new suspension bridge.
