Nice ravine that rushes over Gavilanes, overshadowed by his older brother, is an open but very continuous ravine, with good views and great development. It is not obligatory but it is advisable the combination of cars to remove us more than one hour of ascent.

Tendremos que situarnos en el bonito pueblo de Gavilanes, en plena cara sur de Gredos. Buscaremos la plaza de toros, situada en la parte alta del pueblo y saldremos por la pista que hay detrás y que nos lleva al puente del final del tramo II de Gavilanes. Aquí aparcaremos el coche de retorno. Seguiremos por la pista zigzagueando ladera arriba hasta la parte alta, el área de las Jarillas en donde aparcaremos el coche de acceso.

We will have to place ourselves in the beautiful village of Gavilanes, in the south face of Gredos. We will look for the bullring, located in the upper part of the village and we will leave by the track that is behind and that takes us to the bridge at the end of section II of Gavilanes. Here we will park the car to return. We will continue along the track zigzagging uphill to the top, the area of Jarillas where we will park the access car.

Por el sendero que nos lleva al inicio del tramo II, cruzaremos el río y seguimos por la ladera de enfrente, remontaremos por la izquierda orográfica siguiendo restos de sendas que nos llevan casi al área de las Jarillas, cuando suaviza la subida entramos al cauce. Con combinación de coches el acceso es inmediato y directo al arroyo

By the path that takes us to the beginning of section II, we will cross the river and continue along the slope opposite, we will go up the left orographic following the remains of trails that lead us almost to the area of Jarillas, when the rise softens we enter the riverbed. With combination of cars the access is immediate and direct to the stream.

Abierto, con grandes vistas y, al igual que Gavilanes, muy continuado

Tras el último rápel podemos ir por la derecha orográfica hasta la pista

After the last rappel we can go to the orographic right up to the track.

Posibles en casi todo el recorrido, si salimos por la izquierda bajaríamos por la “senda” de acceso sin combinación
