Acceso a zona Vega de Pas Debemos llegar a Vega de Pas. Desde la N623 en Entrambasmestas cogeremos la CA263. Al llegar a Vega de Pas nos desviaremos por la CA630 a Pandillo Barrancos Aguasal, La Coteruela, La Capia y Ruyemas Aparcaremos en el pueblo

Access to Vega de Pas area We must arrive to Vega de Pas. From the N623 in Entrambasmestas we will take the CA263. When arriving at Vega de Pas we will turn off by the CA630 to Pandillo. Aguasal, La Coteruela, La Capia and Ruyemas ravines. We will park in the village

Accesos Aguasal, La Coteruela, La Capia y Ruyemas Desde Pandillo, continuamos por un camino que nos lleva a Estribera, cruzamos el puente sobre el arroyo y giramos a la derecha siguiendo el PR-S62 (Miradores de Valnera) que nos lleva paralelos al arroyo, hasta llegar a una bifurcación la cual tomaremos a la izquierda subiendo por un sendero que nos aleja del arroyo llevandonos al Cerro de la Vara. Una vez alcanzado la cota más alta continuaremos rectos manteniendo la altitud hasta llegar al arroyo de Ruyemas donde iniciaremos el descenso.

Accesses Aguasal, La Coteruela, La Capia and Ruyemas From Pandillo, we continue along a path that takes us to Estribera, cross the bridge over the stream and turn right following the PR-S62 (Miradores de Valnera) that leads us parallel to the stream, until we reach a fork which we take to the left up a path that takes us away from the stream leading us to the Cerro de la Vara. Once we reach the highest point, we will continue straight ahead maintaining the altitude until we reach the stream of Ruyemas where we will begin the descent.

Iniciamos el descenso una sucesión de pequeños rápeles que nos llevan hasta la cabecera del quinto rápel el salto de 45 m. Tras este salto tenemos un pequeño rapel (evitable) que nos deja en la cabecera de la segunda gran cascada donde realizaremos un primer rápel de 12 m, dejandonos en la vertical del último rápel de 45 m. Tenemos dos reuniones una cerca del activo que en caso de caudal abundante puede ser complicado teniendo que llegar asegurados desde el rápel anterior, y una segunda reunión a la derecha más separada del activo y menos complicada que la anterior, no obstante ambas son reuniones expuestas. Tras la gran cascada tendremos otra pequeño rapel y seguido el décimo rápel de 38 metros (última de las 3 grandes cascadas). A partir de aquí el descenso pierde interés donde debemos superar dos rápeles y varios resaltes hasta llegar al final del descenso donde nos encontraremos un camino en la margen derecha, que utilizaremos para regresar.

We begin the descent with a succession of small rappels that lead us to the head of the fifth rappel, the 45 m drop. After this jump we have a small rappel (avoidable) that leaves us at the head of the second large waterfall where we will make a first abseil of 12 m, leaving us in the vertical of the last abseil of 45 m. We have two meetings, one near the active that in case of abundant flow can be complicated having to arrive secured from the previous rappel, and a second meeting to the right more separated from the active and less complicated than the previous one, however both are exposed meetings. After the big waterfall we will have another small rappel and followed by the tenth rappel of 38 meters (last of the 3 big waterfalls). From here the descent loses interest where we must overcome two rappels and several projections to reach the end of the descent where we will find a path on the right bank, which we will use to return.
