Desde Ponferrada por la LE-142 a Compludo. Justo al llegar al pueblo de El Acebo tenemos el desvío a la derecha a Compludo y Carracedo de Compludo por la LE-5329. Una vez en esta carreterilla iremos hasta una curva de derechas en la que sale de frente el carreterín a Carracedo, nos meteremos y al km tenemos un puente sobre el río, aparcamos el coche de retorno o si no tenemos combinación, el coche que llevemos. Con el coche de acceso subiremos hasta el pueblo de Carracedo, justo a la entrada hay donde aparcar.

Si vamos con un solo coche deberemos subir andando por la carretera hasta el pueblo. Desde el cartel de “Carretera de Montaña”, sale a la derecha una senda que nos baja al arroyo, la seguimos hasta la primera instalación

Bonito descenso que, de vez en cuando, es saboteado por las gentes del pueblo. De todas formas siempre podremos descenderlo en naturales desde árboles. En la parte media del barranco tendremos un par de zonas de pateo
