Canyon for experts, with cold water, very fast flowing, many movements, uncomfortable rappels, ... It is a fairly short canyon but very intense, with only 4 rappels of up to 20m.

Por la N260 hasta Castejón de Sos, donde nos desviaremos a Benasque por la A139 Atravesamos Benasque y seguimos por la carretera dirección Llanos de Hospital, en el pk 69,5 tenemos un desvío a la derecha hacia los Baños de Benasque. Bajaremos hasta el Hotel Turpi y aparcamos el coche de retorno. Si tenemos dos coches seguimos y tomamos el desvío de Llanos del Hospital, a los 300m tenemos una pista a la derecha (curva muy cerrada) que baja al Ésera. la cogemos y aparcamos al lado del puente.

By the N260 to Castejón de Sos, where we turn off to Benasque by the A139. We cross Benasque and follow the road towards Llanos de Hospital, at km 69.5 we have a detour to the right to the Baños de Benasque. We will go down to the Hotel Turpi and park the car to return. If we have two cars we continue and take the detour to Llanos del Hospital, after 300m we have a track on the right (very sharp bend) that goes down to the Ésera. we take it and park next to the bridge.

Desde el puente el acceso es inmediato. Desde el hotel retrocedemos unos metros y cogemos el Sendero Botánico, cruzaremos las cascadas de Alba, donde podemos evaluar caudal y tras pasar a la otra orilla cogemos la pista que nos sube al puente de acceso

From the bridge the access is immediate. From the hotel we go back a few meters and take the Botanical Trail, cross the Alba waterfalls, where we can evaluate flow and after passing to the other side we take the track that takes us up to the access bridge.

Es un descenso duro pero muy bonito e interesante. No es nada cerrado y podremos salir del cauce en casi cualquier sitio para volver a coger la senda Botánica. Dado que es el río Ésera el caudal que tendremos siempre será muy elevado con muchísimos movimientos.

It is a hard descent but very nice and interesting. It is not closed at all and we can leave the riverbed almost anywhere to return to take the Botanical path. Since it is the river Ésera the flow that we will always have will be very high with many movements.

Seguiremos el río hasta ver la senda botánica al lado, la cual seguiremos hasta el hotel

We will follow the river until we see the botanical path next to it, which we will follow to the hotel.
