Tenemos que situarnos por la TF28 en la Villa de Arico Desde Arico el Nuevo por la calle La Degollada hasta el cruce con la calle Paredes, aquí podemos dejar el vehículo de retorno. Con un solo vehículo seguiremos subiendo y la calle se convierte en pista forestal (mejor 4×4 o vehículo alto) con el que seguiremos hasta el Lomo Tajorte y La Bonifacia desde la que sale una pista hacia la cabecera. Con el vehículo de acceso, si lo tenemos, volveremos a la TF28 para ir hasta la Villa de Arico, en la primera rotonda giramos a la derecha subir dirección El Contador. Seguiremos por la Calle el Calvario, y desde ahí todo para arriba siguiendo indicaciones al área recreativa El Contador en donde aparcaremos. Esta pista no siempre está en condiciones de ser recorrida por vehículos comunes

We have to take the TF28 in Villa de Arico. From Arico el Nuevo along La Degollada street to the junction with Paredes street, here we can leave the return vehicle. With only one vehicle we will continue going up and the street becomes a forest track (better 4×4 or high vehicle) with which we will continue up to Lomo Tajorte and La Bonifacia from where a track leaves towards the head of the road. With the access vehicle, if we have it, we will return to the TF28 to go to the Villa de Arico, at the first traffic circle turn right up towards El Contador. Follow Calle el Calvario, and from there all the way up following the signs to the recreational area El Contador where we will park. This track is not always in conditions to be traveled by common vehicles.

Desde el área recreativa saldremos por la pista dirección Este, PR-TF-86.2 , hasta el cauce del barranco. Con un solo vehículo saldremos dirección norte por la pista

From the recreational area we will leave by the track heading east, PR-TF-86.2, to the bed of the ravine. With only one vehicle we will leave northwards along the track.

Un par de rápeles nos acercan a la impresionante vertical, tras ella dos opciones, el escape a la derecha o seguir por el fondo del barranco con solo dos rápeles más, opción que obliga a combinar vehículos.

A couple of rappels lead us to the impressive vertical, after which we have two options, the escape to the right or continue along the bottom of the canyon with only two more rappels, an option that requires a combination of vehicles.

Si salimos por el escape tras la vertical, pasamos bajo el puente del canal y al poco vemos la galería del agua a nuestro lado, poco después un senderito por la derecha remonta el barranco para ir hacia el canal y seguirlo dirección sur para remontar al Lomo Garabato, luego el sendero gira a la derecha para ir a parar a la pista de subida. Si continuamos el barranco haremos los 2 últimos barranco y continuaremos por el cauce con bastantes zarzas hasta la Galería de la Luz, a la izquierda. Remontaremos a coger la pista que llega a ella y la seguiremos hasta el vehículo de retorno.

If we leave by the escape after the vertical, we pass under the bridge of the channel and soon we see the water gallery at our side, shortly after a path on the right goes up the ravine to go to the channel and follow it south to go up to the Lomo Garabato, then the trail turns right to go to the uphill track. If we continue the ravine we will make the last 2 ravines and continue along the riverbed with plenty of brambles to the Galería de la Luz, on the left. We will go back to take the track that arrives to it and we will follow it until the return vehicle.
