Situándonos en Vielha, con el coche de retorno o si solo tenemos un vehículo, justo en la iglesia de San Miguel, por la derecha orográfica del río Nere sube una calle, ésta al termina la población se convierte en pista, la seguiremos hasta el puente sobre el barranc Sant Estève. Unos metros antes podemos aparcar. Con el coche de acceso volveremos a Vielha y de ahí a Betrén, pasaremos la rotonda del Hotel Tuca y a los 100m nos encontramos una pista forestal a la derecha. Es la antigua pista que servía de acceso a las pistas de esquí de la Tuca. Por esta pista iremos subiendo durante 4kms aproximadamente, encontraremos una curva muy cerrada de izquierdas y otra pista de frente que cruza el barranco. Buscamos por aquí el mejor sitio para aparcar.

Desde el aparcamiento superior es inmediato. Desde el aparcamiento de abajo deberemos cruza los prados en busca del bosque, aquí habrá que tirar de orientación y de pequeñas sendas para remontar la ladera de la montaña por la derecha orográfica del barranco sin llegar a alejarnos demasiado. Tras media hora de ascenso llegaremos a la pista reseñada para el 2º coche, la tomamos a la derecha hasta su cruce con el barranco.
