Debemos situarnos en Ramales de la Victoria. Para ello llegaremos por la N629 desde la A8 en Colindres o desde el Puerto de Tornos. Podremos aparcar el coche de acceso en el p.k 65,5, acceso a la ferrata y las cuevas de Covalanas. Con el coche de retorno o si solo tenemos un coche aparcaremos en Ramales.

We must be located in Ramales de la Victoria. To do this we will arrive by the N629 from the A8 in Colindres or from the Puerto de Tornos. We will be able to park the access car in the p.k 65,5, access to the ferrata and the caves of Covalanas. With the return car or if we only have one car we will park in Ramales.

Si hemos aparcado junto a la ferrata solo tendremos que bajar por la ferrata hasta el cauce del río. Si hemos aparcado en Ramales cogeremos el camino de Hazas que nos lleva a la cueva, pasaremos la ferrata del Cáliz, un mirador y llegamos a la ferrata de Calera, acceso al barranco.

If we have parked next to the ferrata we only have to go down the ferrata to the riverbed. If we have parked in Ramales we will take the road to Hazas that takes us to the cave, we will pass the ferrata del Cáliz, a viewpoint and we arrive at the ferrata de Calera, access to the ravine.

Una primera parte de rápeles y la segunda parte de destrepes y progresión por el río. Tras el primer rápel, la riada del 2022 se llevó parte del suelo y ahora el acceso al segundo rápel queda a 4m de altura

Al llegar al puente salimos por la izquierda, subimos a la carretera y vamos hacia el pueblo.

When we reach the bridge, we turn left, go up to the road and head towards the village.
