Von Belluno auf der SS51 Richtung Longarone. Vor Longarone die Beschilderung Pordenone folgen. Man überquert die Brücke über den Fluss Piave. Nach der Brücke links weiter Richtung Erto, Claut (SR 251). Man fährt auf der Bergstraße hoch, vorbei an Erto bis nach Claut. Am Ortsende von Claut (nach dem Fußballplatz und der Bar „K2“) fährt man noch über die Brücke die über die Chiadola führt. Danach gleich rechts großer Parkplatz (+ schöner Picknickplatz nähe Bachbett).

From Belluno on the SS51 towards Longarone. Before Longarone, follow the signs for Pordenone. Cross the bridge over the river Piave. After the bridge, turn left towards Erto, Claut (SR 251). Ride up the mountain road past Erto to Claut. At the end of Claut (after the soccer pitch and the "K2" bar), cross the bridge over the Chiadola. There is a large parking lot on the right (+ nice picnic area near the streambed).

Von Parkplatz aus geht man runter zum Picknickplatz. Hier kann man auch schon die Holzschilder mit der Canyoning Aufschrift sehen. Man folgt dem Weg auf der orographisch linken Bachseite und steigt dann kurz zu den Häuern und der schon sichtbaren Brücke hoch. Hier gleich bei der Brücke (kleiner Klettergarten) nochmals kurz hochsteigen bis man vor der Staumauer steht. Einstieg auf ca. 660m.

From the parking lot, walk down to the picnic area. Here you can already see the wooden signs with the canyoning sign. Follow the path on the orographic left side of the stream and then climb briefly up to the houses and the bridge that is already visible. Here, right by the bridge (small climbing garden), climb up again briefly until you are in front of the dam wall. Entry at approx. 660m.

Die Chiadola ist eine sehr kurze aber durchaus lohnenswerte Kalkschlucht die perfekt eingerichtet ist. Ohne große Wegstrecke folgen die insgesamt sieben Abseilstellen bis max. 20m kurz aufeinander. Wenn es die Wassertiefe zulässt können einige stellen gerutscht werden. Unterhalb der Brücke befindet sich die letzte und höchste Abseilstelle (20m mit Dusche…). Der Stand befindet sich auf der rechten Seite und kann über ein fixes Seilgeländer sicher erreicht werden. Möchte man diese Stelle umgehen, kann vor der Brücke links ausgestiegen werden. Nach dieser Abseilstelle gelangt man in Kürze zum Zustiegsweg. Ausstieg auf ca. 600m.

The Chiadola is a very short but well worthwhile lime canyon that is perfectly set up. The seven abseiling points follow each other for a short distance of up to 20m. If the water depth allows, some places can be slid. Below the bridge is the last and highest abseiling point (20m with shower...). The belay is on the right-hand side and can be reached safely via a fixed rope traverse. If you want to avoid this point, you can get off to the left before the bridge. After this abseiling point, you will soon reach the access path. Exit at approx. 600m.

Bei der künstlichen Stufe links aus dem Bach steigen und den Zustiegsweg in Kürze zurück zum Picknickplatz/Parkplatz folgen.

Climb out of the stream to the left at the artificial steps and follow the access path back to the picnic area/parking lot.
