Bcos zona Arafo Situándonos en Arafo, cogeremos la TF523, carretera del Teide. Poco antes del p.k. 8 tenemos una pista a la izquierda (retorno) a los pocos metros podemos dejar el vehículo de retorno a la derecha. Unos 350m antes hay una curva cerrada de derechas con sitio a la izquierda donde aparcar. Con el vehículo de acceso seguiremos subiendo hasta el p.k. 17, pasado el mirador de Montaña Colorada, tenemos una pista a la izquierda. Aquí podemos aparcar o si tenemos un 4×4 meternos por la pista durante 2kms hasta la cabecera. otra opción es seguir por la carretera a coger la TF24 e ir casi hasta el Mirador de Chimague, el p.k. 28,8, una curva de derechas en la que podremos aparcar.

Al llegar a la galería, a las cuevas, salimos por la izquierda remontando un poco hasta un canal de agua, por la izquierda orográfica seguiremos por el sendero descendente al lado del canal (precaución con la senda), tras un kilómetro llegamos a una senda horizontal hacia la izquierda que nos lleva a una pista que posteriormente nos baja a la carretera.
