Von Saint Girons aus fahren Sie in Richtung Seix und dann links nach Guzet-Neige. Weiter vorne lassen Sie die Straße nach Guzet links liegen und biegen rechts auf die D38 ab. Fahren Sie weiter bis nach Stillon (Gänsepaste), wo Sie links abbiegen, um am Ende der Straße den Ausgangspunkt für den Cirque de Cagateille zu erreichen.

From Saint Girons, head towards Seix and then turn left towards Guzet-Neige. Further ahead, leave the road to Guzet on your left and turn right onto the D38. Continue as far as Stillon (Goose Paste), where you turn left to reach the starting point for the Cirque de Cagateille at the exit of the road.

Vom Parkplatz aus nehmen Sie den Weg, der gemächlich zum Cirque de Cagateille hinaufführt. Am Fuße des Cirque angekommen, folgen Sie einem gut begehbaren Weg, der im Unterholz deutlich ansteigt und zum Étang de la Hillette führt. Am Waldrand, auf einer Höhe von 1543 m, verlassen Sie den Weg und halten sich rechts, indem Sie der Höhenlinie folgen. Sie gelangen zu einem Felsvorsprung, dem Sie bis auf eine Höhe von etwa 1570 m folgen. Von dort aus steigen Sie mehr oder weniger gut eine erste Schlucht hinab, überqueren diese und steigen einen Bergrücken hinauf, wo sich auf etwa 1545 m (endlich) der Baum befindet, der den Startpunkt der Wanderung markiert.

From the parking lot, take the path that leads gently up to the Cirque de Cagateille. Once at the foot of the cirque, follow a well-maintained path that climbs sharply in the undergrowth and leads to the Étang de la Hillette. At the edge of the forest, at an altitude of 1543 m, leave the path and keep to the right, following the contour line. You will reach a rocky outcrop which you follow to an altitude of around 1570 m. From there, you descend more or less well down a first canyon, cross it and climb up a ridge where, at about 1545 m (finally), you will find the tree that marks the starting point of the hike.

Vertikaler Gebirgsbach in wunderschöner Umgebung (Cirque de Cagateille). 45 m Seile reichen aus, wenn man alles im RG im großen Wasserfall macht. Abfahrt für Techniker und kleine Gruppen. Die Ausrüstung ist stellenweise etwas veraltet, aber der große Wasserfall ist mit Haken gesichert. Die Ausrüstung ist unterschiedlich, AN auf Baumstämmen, auf Felsen, Haken, Doppelringe, Spits: also sehr gut zum Trainieren!!

The equipment is a bit outdated in places, but the large waterfall is secured with anchors. The equipment is varied, AN on tree trunks, on rocks, anchors, double rings, spits: so very good for training!!!

Nach dem letzten Wasserfall etwa 20 Minuten im Fluss entlanggehen. Man gelangt wieder auf den Weg, den man auf dem Hinweg genommen hat.

After the last waterfall, walk along the river for about 20 minutes. You return to the path you took on the way there.

Sehr eingeschlossen, kein Entkommen. Erhebliche Verpflichtung unter der C40.
